NST Change Log

This document is used to indicate changes, new features and bug fixes as they occur for each release of the NST.

Changes may appear in the change log prior to the official release. This occurs as the developers often update the web site to match the current development area. As a side benefit, those interested in the future of the NST will get a glimpse at what is coming in the next release.

Developers working on the project should refer to the Developer Notes below which provides information on maintaining the change log file used to build this document.

2006-11-30	1559222	Fedora Core 5 ships with a thread enabled version of the Tcl package. We have not used a threaded build of the Tcl package in the past, and sguil won't run if threading is enabled. The simplest solution was to replace the Tcl package with a non-threaded version so that sguil will run again. The src/bin/tcl_nothreads_fetch_build script is used on the development system to accomplish this.
